My wrap up for March
Did anyone else struggle with their reading in March? I was fine at the beginning but I found it so hard to concentrate in the last two weeks – especially on fantasy books. I somehow still managed to read 17 books, but I swear I must have read most of them at the start of the month 😅
My 4.5 / 5 stars for this month were:
Only Mostly Devastated: This was such a brilliant book. A queer Grease retelling that gave me all the feels! It was funny, sad and sweet and I loved it!
Golden Son: I am loving my audiobook listen of this series and can’t wait to get to the rest of the books!
Crescent City: House of Earth & Blood: This one was super high on my most anticipated list and it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely loved this story and I’m sure it’s going to be a new favourite series for me!
The Recovery of Rose Gold: This unique story, with two unreliable and unlikeable main characters was a brilliant read I couldn’t put down.
Dark Skies: I loved book one, Dark Shores, and Dark Skies was just as gripping. If you haven’t started this series full of high seas and magic yet, I’d highly recommend it!
The Bone Thief: Another sequel to a book I adored last year, The Bone Charmer. I love the cool magic system, based on bones, in these books!
How to Grow a Family Tree: A powerful and hard hitting book that dealt with heavy topics, but still managed to be such an enjoyable read.
Our Dark Duet: I can’t believe I finally finished this duology, and even more, I can’t believe it took me this long to get around to reading it. It was amazing!
Other ones I really enjoyed were The End of Cuthbert Close, The Gravity of Us, Gideon the Ninth and Gargantis!
As usual, clicking on the pics below will take you to my reviews (Some reviews may not be live on my blog yet as I post them on the book’s release date due to publisher’s requests, so keep your eye on my blog for those reviews in April) 🙂
