About This Book

Fans of the New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series won't want to miss this all-new story set in the dangerous world of dragons! Fierceteeth knows she could have been a dragonet of destiny. She's a much better NightWing than that weird brother of hers, Starflight. Fierceteeth just wants a chance to tell her side of the story -- before it's

Our Review

This Wings of Fire novella plunges readers directly into the dangerous dragon world through the perspective of Fierceteeth, a NightWing who believes she deserved the destiny given to the dragonets of prophecy. Trapped in a SandWing prison with her brother Strongwings while awaiting trial, this captive's first-person narrative reveals the simmering resentment and bruised ego of a character convinced the prophecy chose the wrong dragon. Sutherland masterfully expands the series lore by exploring the consequences of the main storyline from an outsider's viewpoint, giving depth to what could have been a mere side character.

Fierceteeth's voice crackles with authentic arrogance and desperation, making her simultaneously frustrating and compelling as she demands the chance to tell her version of events. This Winglets installment delivers exactly what series fans craveβ€”more time in Pyrrhia with familiar faces while deepening our understanding of the complex dragon society. The tight focus on a single character's imprisonment and perspective makes this a perfect bite-sized adventure for readers who can't get enough of this dragon-filled universe.
